This Courage Chronicle is about Kim White, the founder and fierce leader of The My Sexy Business team. But she didn’t start that way.
It took some terrible life circumstances and an unexpected feel-good movie to start being courageous in some very practical ways, to create a life she loves around a business that she owns, and doesn't own her.

But here is the backstory of a real-life “William” who changed her stars, and the reason behind why this movie - A Knight’s Tale - was so meaningful to her.
When It Went From Bad To Worse
When my boys were little, I had to make some hard choices. I was in a bad relationship that I had to escape.
To make money, I was buying and selling things from an auction to a flea market. It was very difficult. I had two little boys, and we were doing a lot of really hard physical labor to be able to buy and sell things.
That was the only thing I knew how to do at the time because my stars really hadn't changed yet.
I watched this movie - A Knight’s Tale - with my precious, oldest son before he passed away. What made a devastating event even worse, was that at that time, I didn’t even have enough money to bury him.
Can A Man Really Change His Stars?

There were so many things that spoke to me loudly: the “Just Do It” Nike swoosh on the armor; the broken armor, not having any money. I could relate because I didn't know how we would survive.
This movie gave me the courage to try something new. I realized that I didn't have to haul all the things that I was selling to the flea market. I could literally ship them out from my house by selling on eBay.
From Surviving To Thriving
I started an eBay store when they first came out. We were shipping hundreds of packages all over the world.
I went on to be one of the top power sellers on eBay. I got an extremely high score on the feedback because I believe in taking care of people and having integrity.

That business taught me so much about what was possible. I found a way to do the things I needed to do.
“I think anyone who is struggling - in any way - can find a way to get past whatever it is. It is possible for anyone to change their stars.” Kim White
